The Ceramic Coating Process — What to Expect
1. Pre-Wash & Decontamination
We begin with a thorough pre-wash to remove loose dirt and grime, followed by iron fallout removal to dissolve embedded metallic particles and tar removal to lift bonded road tar. The surface is then clay barred to achieve a perfectly smooth, contamination-free finish.
2. Paint Correction
e use professional dual-action and rotary polishers with appropriate compounds to remove swirl marks, light scratches, water spots, and surface defects. This stage is what dramatically improves gloss depth — and it's what your eye sees when you look at the finished result.
3. Panel Wipe & Prep
Before any coating touches the paint, we IPA-wipe every panel to remove residual oils and polishing dusts. The surface must be surgically clean for the coating to bond correctly.
4. Ceramic Coating Application
We apply the ceramic coating by hand, panel by panel, using correct levelling technique. Coating application is methodical — rushing this stage produces high spots and uneven curing.
5. Curing
The coating bonds to your clear coat as it cures. We advise on aftercare to ensure the coating achieves its full rated performance.
